List of ingredients
- 1 baguette of bread
- 2-3 slices of ham
- A few Mini Mozarellas
- A few slices of tomato
- A few leaves of lettuce or rocket (optional)
- A few slices of green pepper for garnish
- Spanish tomato sauce (recipe below)
- Salt and pepper (optional)
For the Spanish tomato sauce :
- 2 ripe tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- Salt
- Pepper
Preparation steps
Preparation of the Spanish tomato sauce :
- Peel the tomatoes and grate into a bowl.
- Finely chop the garlic.
- Add the olive oil and garlic to the grated tomatoes.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Mix well.
Preparing the sandwich :
- Cut the baguette in half lengthways.
- Spread the inside of the baguette with the Spanish tomato sauce.
- Arrange the slices of ham and add the mini mozzarellas on top.
- Arrange the tomato slices, lettuce leaves and a few peppers on top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Close the sandwich with the other half of the baguette.
- If necessary, cut the sandwich in half to make it easier to hold.
